About BeatBuddy

BeatBuddy is an advanced Discord music bot that has the ability to play music requested from YouTube, Spotify, and SoundCloud all through your voice channels.

Originally developed in Python as a simple, partially-functional bot in December of 2021, the bot was torn down and built from the ground up using Node.js and Discord.js in February of 2022.

As of Febuary 8th, 2023, BeatBuddy's command list has been fully converted to Discord Slash Commands!
